Old Brazil just started carrying these Lotus Ceramic Candle Holders and already they’re flying out the door! The colors are fabulous and you can use them indoors or out. I’ve had a ball putting them throughout the store to add a burst of color for summer. This is definitely our biggest summer hit!

After a year of working out of a temporary location, we are thrilled to be back in our favorite 228 South Park location!

The article reads:

Old Brazil, in the artsy Lost Barrio shopping district, held a grand reopening Friday, 14 months after the store and its inventory suffered extensive smoke damage.

The damage occurred when a major fire ripped through a swath of Lost Barrio along the 200 block of South Park Avenue on Feb. 24, 2009, causing more than $1 million in damage to numerous businesses. Police said in November that they had closed their investigation of the fire without being able to determine a cause.

“The renovations are complete and the store looks amazing,” said Carolyn Maloney, owner of Old Brazil, a furniture store specializing in reclaimed Brazilian hardwoods.

Two new stores, Southwest Furniture & Design and Petroglyphs, have gone into spaces that burned down, Maloney said in a news release.
